A long-lasting gel that slowly releases fragrance over several weeks

Ingredients
180 mL Distilled Water
8 g Xanthan Gum
10 mL Polysorbate 20
1% of total batch weight Geogard ECT
40–60 drops Bloom Essential Oil Blend
Method
Combine the Polysorbate 20 and Essential Oil in a small container. Mix until fully blended.
Slowly sprinkle the Xanthan Gum into the Distilled Water while whisking continuously to prevent lumps.
Add the Essential Oil and Polysorbate 20 mixture. Whisk to incorporate.
Add the Geogard ECT and stir through.
Allow the gel to thicken for 10–15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Transfer into small open-top glass jars. Label with product name and date.

How to use
Place an open jar in any room. The gel slowly releases fragrance over several weeks. Stir occasionally to refresh the scent. Replace when the gel dries out completely. Keep out of direct sunlight.
Storage
Spare sealed jars store in a cool, dark place for up to 3 months.
Safety
Sprinkle Xanthan Gum slowly while whisking; it clumps instantly if added too fast. Place out of reach of children and pets; Essential Oils at this concentration are harmful if ingested. Keep away from open flames.
