DIY Aloe Vera Soothing Spray

A lightweight cooling spray for minor skin irritation and razor burn

Ingredients

  • 80 mL Aloe Vera Gel
  • 50 mL Organic Witch Hazel
  • 15 mL Distilled Water
  • 1% of total batch weight Geogard ECT
  • 5 drops Tea Tree Essential Oil OR Soothe Essential Oil Blend (optional)

Method

  1. Sanitise all equipment.
  2. Combine the Aloe Vera Gel, Organic Witch Hazel and Distilled Water in a clean mixing jug. Stir well.
  3. Add the Geogard ECT at 1% of the total batch weight. Mix through.
  4. Add the Essential Oil if using and stir.
  5. Transfer to a clean spray bottle.
  6. Label with product name and date made.

  • 150 mL spray bottle

How to use

Spray onto affected skin as needed. Allow to absorb; do not rinse. Suitable for face and body. Avoid contact with eyes. For razor burn, apply immediately after shaving and allow to dry.

Storage

Store in a cool, dark place or refrigerate. Use within 3 months. Discard if the smell or appearance changes.

Safety

For minor intact skin irritation only; not for open wounds or deeply broken skin. Tea Tree adds antimicrobial benefit; Soothe gives a calming floral-citrus finish; choose based on intended use. Preservative is essential; do not omit. Avoid contact with eyes. If irritation worsens, consult a health professional. Keep out of reach of children.
