Commercial fabric softeners work by coating fabric fibres with a thin layer of synthetic quaternary ammonium compounds — the same class of chemicals used in some disinfectants. Cleaning Vinegar does the same job without any of that. It neutralises the alkaline residue left by laundry powder, which is what stiffens fabric after washing. The result is genuinely soft laundry with no chemical coating.
HERO INGREDIENT — Cleaning Vinegar The acidity of Cleaning Vinegar neutralises the alkaline residue that laundry powder leaves in fabric fibres after washing — it's that residue, not the fibres themselves, that causes stiffness. A half-cup in the softener dispenser is all it takes. The vinegar smell does not linger on fabric once dry, even without Essential Oil.
