A simple natural softener to soften fibres and reduce static

Ingredients
1 litre (1000 mL) Cleaning Vinegar
30–40 drops Bloom Essential Oil Blend (optional)
Method
Pour the Cleaning Vinegar into a clean 1 litre bottle.
Add Essential Oil if using.
Swirl gently to combine.
Label with product name.

How to use
Add ½ cup to the fabric softener dispenser of your washing machine. Do not add directly to the drum with laundry powder. Safe for most fabrics. Do not use on wool, cashmere or silk.
Storage
Store in a cool, dark place. Cleaning Vinegar keeps indefinitely; shake before use if the oil has settled.
Safety
Never mix with chlorine bleach; the combination releases toxic chlorine gas. Add it to the rinse (fabric softener) dispenser, never straight into the wash with laundry powder; vinegar and washing soda cancel each other out if they meet in the wash water. Used in the rinse, it works fine with the washing soda-based powders in this book. Do not use on wool, cashmere or silk. Keep out of reach of children.
