A natural wax polish to nourish and protect timber surfaces
Commercial furniture polishes are mostly silicone: they look good on the first pass but build up into a dull, sticky layer over months. This polish uses Jojoba Oil and beeswax to nourish the timber itself rather than coat it. It works on sealed and unsealed timber, and the finish improves with each application.

Ingredients
70 mL Jojoba Oil
15 g Organic Beeswax Pellets
5 drops Vitamin E Oil
10 drops Lemon Essential Oil (optional)
Method
Set up a double boiler or place a heatproof jug in a bowl of hot water.
Melt the Organic Beeswax Pellets gently over low-medium heat.
Once fully melted, add the Jojoba Oil and stir.
Remove from heat immediately.
Add the Vitamin E Oil and Lemon Essential Oil if using. Stir well.
Pour into a clean amber glass jar. Allow to set at room temperature.
Label with product name and date made.

How to use
Test on a hidden area first. Apply a small amount to a soft cloth. Work into the timber in the direction of the grain. Leave to absorb, then buff with a dry cloth. Not suitable for lacquered or painted surfaces.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place. May soften in warm weather. Use within 12 months.
