DIY Laundry Soaker
For the loads that need more than a regular wash — heavily soiled workwear, cloth nappies, stained tablecloths, anything that has been sitting. The percarbonate releases oxygen slowly over the soak period, working into fabric fibres to lift staining from within. The longer the soak, the more it does.
HERO INGREDIENT — Organic Sodium Percarbonate
In a soaker formula, Sodium Percarbonate has time to work properly — it dissolves in warm water and releases hydrogen peroxide continuously over the soak period, penetrating deep into fabric fibres where stains have set. It's particularly effective on organic staining like food, blood, and body fluids, and it brightens yellowed whites without the damage that chlorine bleach causes over time.
WHAT ELSE IS IN THIS RECIPE
Washing Soda — alkaline base that pre-treats grease and protein staining and supports the percarbonate's oxygen bleaching action
Cleaning Salt — softens the soak water and helps prevent mineral deposits on fabric during extended soaking
Essential Oil — optional — adds fragrance to the soak water; use sparingly as scent does not persist strongly after rinsing
