A gentle shampoo safe for regular use on most coat types

Ingredients
190 mL Distilled Water
30 mL Liquid Castile Soap
15 mL Cocamidopropyl Betaine
8 mL Vegetable Glycerin
1% of total batch weight Geogard ECT
Method
Sanitise all equipment.
Combine the Liquid Castile Soap, Cocamidopropyl Betaine and Vegetable Glycerin in a clean jug. Stir gently.
Add the Distilled Water slowly.
Add the Geogard ECT at 1% of the total batch weight. Stir through.
Do NOT add Essential Oils; many are toxic to dogs.
Pour into a clean squeeze bottle.
Label with product name and date made.

How to use
Wet the dog’s coat thoroughly with warm water. Apply shampoo and lather gently through the coat. Avoid eyes, ears and nose. Rinse thoroughly; leave no residue. Towel dry. Not suitable for puppies under 8 weeks.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place. Use within 3–6 months. Discard if the smell or appearance changes.
Safety
NEVER add Essential Oils to this recipe; many are toxic to dogs including Tea Tree, Eucalyptus, Peppermint and all citrus oils. Rinse thoroughly; residue causes skin irritation. Not suitable for puppies under 8 weeks. Keep out of reach of children.
